Description

CHARACTERISTICS

It is an elastomeric sheath with medium thickness for the protection and waterproofing of internal and external surfaces, thanks to its good resistance at atmospheric agents; it is composed of synthetic elastomers in scatter, pigments, micronised charges and specific admixtures.

APPLICATION FIELDS

Thanks to its elasticity and excellent bonding, it is suitable for waterproofing of surfaces, toilettes and shower walls, floorings, terraces and balconies, before the tiles placement, for the capsulate of asbestos cement and fibre-cement coverings, for supports like concrete, cement plasters, old sheath, flower boxes, tiles and floor tiles.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

SUBSTRATES PREPARATION

Substrates have to be with no detaching parts, oil, grease, dust, and everything else could compromise the bonding. The cement foundation has to be solid, dry, without rising damp. On the substrates which are quite absorbent it is suggested to apply one coat of the same product, diluted with water to facilitate the soaking in foundations. In case of asbestos cement’ capsulate or any other surface covered with moss or mould, wash and brush carefully before the application.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

Mix accurately the product and dilute it with clean water: for first coat dilute at 50% to facilitate a better soaking, for the second and third one follow the indications on the packaging.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

The product need to be applied in two-three coats, uniforming, with intervals of at least 6-8 hours from one to the other (depending on environmental temperatures), with brush or roller and thickness of 1 mm each coat. Apply the product crossing the coats.
