RASOCEM KR is a skim coat (compliant to the European regulation UNI EN 1504-2, according to the MC and IR principles) monocomponent, in transpiring powder, for concrete surfaces, internal or external plasters, composed of hydraulic binders, selected sands in different granulometries, synthetic binders, different admixtures and polypropylene fibre.


Rasocem KR is suitable for the following applications:

- surface regularization of concrete’s castings or precast panels which present imperfections, porosity, eroded or damaged areas in low depth.

- surface regularization of cementitious, dehumidifying and thermic plasters (Thermoisol).

- Protective cladding of plasters and concretes from environmental aggressions.

- To bury the fibre glass mesh.



Before the product application it is suggested to remove all the damaged or crumbly parts, until you have a surface good and resistant, then clean the surface removing dust, oil, grease traces etc.


Mix one sack of kg 25 RASOCEM KR with lt 4-4,5 of clean water with mixer or helix put in the drill at low speed until you obtain a homogeneous lump free paste. Let stand the mixture and shake it again briefly before the use.


Apply the mixture on the surface with metal smooth trowel in a uniform way, in a thickness of 3 mm maximum for each coat; after that, bury the primed fibre glass mesh, pressing it with the smooth trowel on the fresh layer of the mixture. You will obtain this way a layer compacted and regular; apply a second coat and finish with the metallic trowel or with a sponge trowel kept damp after some minutes from the application. In hot periods, it is suggested to wet with clean water the surface smoothed and hardened, to avoid the appareance of anomalies or crackings due to an eventual fast drying, then proceed with the finishing coat.
